Mystique

#news

We make a convenient classification of items for you, dividing them into separate groups and briefly describing them to make it easier for you to navigate in Dota 2

Today we're going to take a look at the items that we classify as "Mystics".

Boots of speed

Is one of the most popular items in Dota 2. If you take a look at the characteristics that improve for such a low cost - it becomes clear why this item is in demand. The boots cost a mere 500 gold dollars, which adds 50 to the movement speed of the hero and opens up the possibility of collecting a large number of useful artifacts, such as:

  • Boots of Travel

  • Tranquil Boots
  • Phase Boots
  • Arcane Boots
  • Power Treads

The speed advantage is very important in Dota 2 and this is due to the fact that it is a rather mobile game, which requires not only a good computer characteristics, which we offer you in it land, but also a pumped up character, which does not use only the basic features, but improves and augments them in every way with the help of art. And the speed of the hero's movements is one of his most important advantages.

Boots of speed are perfect for those attackers who need to be able to collect mana points fast.

Cloak

Remember the invisibility cloak from Harry Potter? It's even better because it dissipates damage from mages and reduces the impact of attack spells, so it's hard to get caught up in debuffs if you have this art. A nice bonus is the magic immunity, which allows you to become more durable during battles.

It costs up to 550 gold for +20% resistance to magic.

Will be useful to create Hood of Defiance.

It’s highly recommended for these characters: Abaddon, Bristleback, Centaur Warrunner, Clockwerk, Dark Seer, Earth Spirit, Elder Titan, Huskar, Phoenix, Pudge, Spectre, Timbersaw, Undying.

Ghost Scepter

Stops the wielder's spells, disarms him, and takes away 5% resistance to magic, but in return, he gets a nice bonus of 100% immunity to physical damage. So, the owner of this artifact has to choose.

Gloves of Haste

The bonus from the glove isn't that great: only +20 to attack speed, which seems insignificant when compared to Boots of speed. But buying Gloves of Haste gives you a chance to craft a lot of important items:

  • Power Treads

  • Maelstrom
  • Armlet of Mordiggian.
  • Hand of Midas
Magic Stick

Costs only 200 gold, for which you get nice bonuses in the form of stopping spending on health and mana replenishment bottles, as well as confidence on the fighting line.

This art doesn't give any special characteristics worth mentioning, but it does upgrade a resource that is needed at the time of use.

It works like this: the enemy uses a spell in your character's line of sight, thus accumulating you certain cells, stacks, activation of which adds 15 mana or health for 1 charge. It also comes in handy to collect Magic Wand.

Morbid Mask

Restores 15% of health after each hit, which greatly affects the endurance of the hero during battles.  Also makes farming easier, as the hero can get useful resources for the team without much damage to himself. Especially Mortred and Ursa need this item, because their main advantage is physical damage.

Artifacts that can be created with Morbid Mask are also important:

  • Helm of the Dominator

  • Mask of Madness
  • Vladmir's Offering

Sage's Mask

Most often this item is purchased in the early stages of the game , this is because it increases the mana by 50%, while having a rather low cost of 325 coins.

Interesting is the fact that the list of characters who are reasonable to spend money on the mask can be attributed almost all. Also, using it, you can create a lot of items:

  • Oblivion Staff.

  • Urn of Shadows
  • Ring of Basilius
  • Medallion of Courage
  • Soul Ring
  • Eul's Scepter of Divinity

Shadow Amulet

This art gives you invisibility, but takes away your ability to move around the map at the time of use. That's why, more often than not, it's spent on him in order to create better items. These include Shadow Blade and Glimmer Care. Shadow Blade's effects help during an attack and your invisibility lasts longer, so it's more useful than its predecessor, Shadow Amulet.

Talisman of Evasion

For its relatively high cost of 1800 gold, it adds 25% damage evasion. But its value adds only 25% damage evasion. But its value lies in the ability to take stronger artifacts, such as: Butterfly (increases up to 35% damage percentage), Heaven's Halberd (restricts enemy's ability to strike for 4 seconds, which is one of the most valuable features of the game), and Solar Crest (increases up to 30% damage percentage).

Blink Dagger

One of the most important items in Dota 2. At its cost of 2150 coins, it does not add + to the characteristics, but it is important precisely because of the unique teleportation capability. With the Blink Dagger, you can move to a range of 1200. The ability reloads for 14 seconds, and the cost per attempt is 75 gold.

  • It's worth mentioning that you can't use the Blink Dagger when an enemy deals you damage. And each attack delays your teleport ability by 3 seconds.

Here's a list of heroes for whom this item is not even an issue:

  • Earthshaker

  • Tiny
  • Axe
  • Sand King
  • Enigma
  • Ursa
  • Tidehunter
  • Magnus
  • Shadow Fiend
