On June 29, Ukraine and England picked their place in the Euro quarterfinals.

• England had not been so close to the finals since 1996.

Ukraine got the victory against Sweden in the last minutes of extra time. We will remember this fight for a long time. So, after one hundred minutes there was a real battle on the pitch. Players were leaving the field one by one, because of injuries. Thus, at the end of the match, the Swedish team had ten players against eleven Ukrainian. 

Yesterday the Italian team defeated Belgium and proudly opened the door to the semifinals. Next, it will face Spain, who beat Switzerland in goals, during the penalty shootout.

So we hope to see a match between Ukraine and one of these teams in the near future.

About the players

Unfortunately, due to serious injury received by the player during the match Ukraine - Sweden, we will not see Artem Besedin in the game for about 6 months. 

However, it became known that Oleksandr Zubkov will appear in the game, at least so says the official website of the Ukrainian Association of Football. Recall that he was absent after an injury he received in a match against the Netherlands.
