Microsoft Flight Simulator to revive "Mriya"

#EdPro

Microsoft Flight Simulator CEO Jorg Neumann, Executive Director Sebastian Vlok, and Executive Producer Martial Bossard announced the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator update details.

Microsoft Flight Simulator

Microsoft Flight Simulator provides ample opportunities for those who want to feel like a pilot. You can choose the aircraft you wish to - from light to wide-body jets. You can also go anywhere in the world and create your flight plan.

So far, players have made more than 20 million flights on various models available in this simulator.

Sim Update 12

In Sim Update 12, which is due to be released on March 14, players can fly the AN-2 from AT Simulations. The team has already signed a contract with Antonov and is actively preparing for the release of the updated version of the game.

However, the most famous Ukrainian airplane model from the available gaming arsenal will be the AN-225 Mriya, converted to the digital format by iniBuilds.

The AN-225 will be a paid airplane, costing $19.99. All proceeds will go to Antonov to restore the real Mriya. Microsoft plans to release the PC game on the anniversary of the AN-225's destruction by Russian invaders on February 27.

The Xbox game will be released a little later - on March 14, as it requires the implementation of WASM.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
