NFT as a 21st century currency

#EdPro

The NFT is a "non-fungible" currency. NF is "non-fungible", which translates to non-fungible, but in economics, it means that these products cannot be separated, and their parts can be easily replaced.

So you lose the T - token.

The token is something similar to a virtual token. This is a cryptocurrency asset that gives the right to use certain goods or pay for services in digital format. It identifies you as a user and allows you to view or use a certain object.

Fungible and non-fungible tokens

Tokens can be of two types: fungible and non-fungible, where the former are interoperable, in contrast to the others, which are impossible to find a match.

For example, the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency can be exchanged for another one or make a mutually beneficial exchange of one currency for another, because they have the same value and it will be beneficial for both parties.

A non-fungible token is a unique unit because there are no advisors both in terms of the object it represents and in terms of cost. This means that the picture which is a token and is represented in a single instance cannot be replaced and has no counterparts.

Thus, NFT is a type of digital asset created on a blockchain and gives the right to be owned by a certain commodity, which is available exclusively on the Internet. Examples can be photos or illustrations, video materials, or animations.

What about the uniqueness?

NFT is also a so-called digital certificate, which indicates that the exchange, sale, or purchase operation is performed directly with the product itself, which has an owner and history (who belonged to you, who is its author), which is stored in an open blockchain.

Anyone can create their own art object and put it at a price they consider appropriate. It can be a scan of a copy of a favorite picture, a manuscript, or complete abstraction, that is, everything that falls on your mind.

Absolutely anything can become a digital asset. You can tokenize even your fingerprints, of course, as long as someone else hasn't done it before you.
