Separate the creeps

#slang

Today we're going to look at two words without which it's impossible to understand Dota 2. You probably already guessed that today we're going to talk about def and creeps.

Def means "defense". But this term also has two meanings: a special tactic of the game and one of the character's characteristics.

In the game World of Warcraft, the def score is responsible for the hero's defense level. That is, the higher the defa level, the less damage will be a character in the fight against monsters, enemy heroes and bosses.

In Dota 2, Counter Strike, World of Tanks - this is the name of the defensive tactics. In general, it means - to stand on a particular location on the map and fight off enemies.

  • If the entire team is focused on one location - win is quite difficult, so we advise to move around the map

Who are these creeps?

Your creeps are auxiliary units, they play for your team and fight for victory together with you, they don't harm their own team, we think that would be strange, so it's simple here.

But, as for the creeps of the enemy team, here you should always be on the alert, because they are just as eager to protect their troops.

For killing enemy units you get precious gold, for which your team can buy important artifacts in the main store and secret shops.

The principle of the game creeps is simple: they go to the line of battle and fight along with the heroes, but remember that they only help your own team, mostly - distracting enemies, while the players are competing for supremacy.

Thus, the creeps - such a crowd, which can divert enemies and take the blow on themselves for a certain period of time.

  • Keep in mind that in Dota 2, they are the main source of gold

If you thought that this word is only used among fans of computer games, in that case - you were wrong.
