Millions of players around the world have joined together in a large Fortnite community. This community includes people from every corner of the world and every age group. The game has gained a large number of fans thanks to its interesting story, bright graphics and multiplatform capability - the ability to play from several operating systems simultaneously.

Right now, the Battle Royale and King's Party mode, which it includes, is supported on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. On those same devices, it's also possible to play in creative mode. Whereas, the ability to take part in "Battle of the Storm" is only available with PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Each player can choose from four modes to choose the one he or she likes best. Among the options: "Battle Royale," "Royal Party," "Fight the Storm" and the creative mode.  Let's break down each one in more detail.

Battle Royale

If you're familiar with the movie The Hunger Games, in which case you'll find a lot of similarities between this mode and the movie. Your goal is to last longer than everyone else and survive.

The game begins with you being dropped off a military bus on an island, and then the real battle ensues - now only your actions affect victory. You have a choice - to compete one-on-one with your rivals or team up with your friends and fight for victory together. Bricks, wood, and iron are used to build fortifications and structures that will protect you from your enemies.

The Battle Royale mode is constantly evolving. New things are constantly being added, like weapons, vehicles, and items. The seasons change all the time, which have their own themes. Seasons are the core of the game and while they change, new abilities are added, special details and the general look of the characters and the map change, which determines the special atmosphere of the game.

Royal Party

This mode is completely different from the previous one. Having played the Battle Royale, when you come to this mode, you won't immediately realize you are in the same game. There won't be a fierce fight for survival and you won't have to build structures to defend yourself, the only thing that happens here, as you have already guessed, is the party. Have fun and have fun. To have fun, there's boat racing, an aerial obstacle course, and general movie and concert viewing, just what's missing during quarantine, right?

Creative Mode

It's simple - you create your own paradise. You have all available materials and decorations to realize your fantasies. The main thing is to think what exactly you want to see on your island. And you can also bring your friends to your friends' islands or invite your buddies to see your creation.

Fighting the Storm

You and the team members have the challenging goal of exploring the vast world that the storm is ravaging and destroying, and fighting off all the monsters that will get in the way of unlocking your map. These characters are called brainiacs. During the battle with these monsters you will gradually become stronger, by obtaining loot, creating new weapons and increasing the number of heroes. Don't forget to fortify your base by creating traps to defeat the attack of the brainiacs.
