It has been five months since the full-scale invasion, and we imagine that there is not a single Ukrainian left who has not supported the economy of the country or the UAF.
This is what makes the question relevant: ‘How can I help if I no longer have the same values?’
We should note at once that most people believe that only ’big’ donations, sometimes from 500 hryvnias, can help. Otherwise, what sense is there in asking for money. But what to do, if there is no such amount or lack of capacity to make such a contribution?
The answer is on the surface, but few would have guessed it was so simple.
‘Take as much as you can!’
Okay, it's as simple as that.
Supposedly, you did not send those 20 hryvnia, and decided to save, such as for cava. Just as you thought, another 10,000 people. And, before our eyes is not a small amount of 200,000 UAH, for which you could buy enough helmets or bulletproof vests.
Certainly, everything depends on the quantity, but not the money, but the people who take part.
This is why Sergei Prytula's ‘People’s Bayraktar’ project is significant.
The essence of this charity fundraiser is that the main amount of donations was from 2 to 200 UAH. And those who could not donate contributed to the fund by posting their posts on the network with the help of donations and reposts.
Thus, Ukrainians collected a colossal sum and each of them is now a part of something great, perhaps something that will be written about in the history books of Ukraine and told for generations to come as something difficult to believe in.
On the official page on Instagram, Serhiy Pritula notes:
‘Pritula: Ukrainians! It takes 7 days to collect 500 million for 3 Bayrakrs. Ukrainians:
- 3 days.
- 600 000 000 UAH.
- 4 Bayraktars!!!!!!!!
I am grateful to all those who have reached the project ‘People's Bayraktar’!!!
It really was a project that united everyone, regardless of age, gender or beliefs! I love all of you and I love that I am with you in the same atmosphere!‘
